Family & Partner Support

When someone you love lives with voices, visions, unusual beliefs, or other psychosis-related experiences, your support can make a profound difference. I’ve navigated the often rocky terrain of integrating my own experiences into partner relationships and family life, and I bring that perspective to the families I support.

I help families and partners see the deeply personal, meaning-rich side of these experiences — and find ways to stay connected without taking over. Together, we explore how to grow more comfortable with not having all the answers.

I share practical ideas and tools for asking curious, caring questions, having honest conversations, supporting new strategies with voices and extreme states, and showing up in ways that feel healing instead of intrusive. I can help you practice staying present during distress, listening for themes and emotions, and validating your loved one’s experiences — while caring for yourself too.

My approach centers the voice hearer’s perspective first and encourages families to respect privacy, consent, and autonomy — on their loved one’s terms. I believe relationships can grow and evolve over time, and that meaningful connection does not depend on someone being “ready” in a particular way.
